Scholarship for Credit Union Members

CTECU members are invited to apply for our credit union scholarship for McNeese State University.

The McNeese Federal Credit Union Memorial Scholarship is open to any credit union member currently enrolled at McNeese State University or planning to attend McNeese in the Fall.

The scholarship was established by McNeese Federal Credit Union many years ago, and CTECU chose to carry on this important tradition when both credit unions merged in 2022.

Application Information
The application cycle is open from March 1st through May 15th. Please use the form below to complete the application. Be sure to:

  1. Review the Privacy Policy regarding information that we collect.
  2. Fill out the application completely and accurately.
  3. Ensure you have registered as a student at McNeese State University and have selected to be considered for scholarships.

Eligibility Requirements for Applicants

  • Must be an active member of Calcasieu Teachers & Employees Credit Union (UTMA and Minor accounts do not apply)
  • Must be a registered student at McNeese State University
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an ACT score of 20 or higher
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4 point scale)

By signing below, I agree/acknowledge the following:

I am 18 years or older and authorize the credit union to share the above-mentioned student's credit union membership status with McNeese State University. If the student is not yet 18, the student's guardian must sign below.

I acknowledge that this form is solely to determine the membership status with the credit union. I understand that the McNeese Foundation makes the final decisions and that the student must complete the necessary steps with McNeese State University that the university requires to be considered for any scholarships.
